They're here! Should see them in service mid November thru February.

The three month test was a success! Used primarily on #351; 311; 620; 301 & 555.

TransLink has ordered 32 double Decker buses, expected to arrive in summer 2019.

Should also get assigned to 601's too, once the lower hanging overhead wires are raised high enough for the buses to get thru.

TransLink tweeks and adjusts schedules four times a year.

Even routes not listed can see changes and adjustments, type in a date after Sept 3 on the TransLink website to bring up your route.

As the News1130 Weather Guarantee is up for grabs today, I thought I would post the update that I promised last year (right before my world fell apart), but never got around to it.

Some of you might remember a very active member when we had the Corus radio clubs and were active in posting.  (We even had a picnic one year, and some of us also went to the River Rock for the buffet brunch once.)

Her name was Connie Chessell, but she posted on here as "DOM", which stood for "Dog-O-Mite".  (She was at the picnic, and also met up once at the PNE for the Trooper concert one year)  Well, I was connected with her on FB, and we were chatting one Friday night on messenger - 28/2/14).  She said good night about 10, said she was going to bed, didn't feel well etc., & that we'd chat on the weekend.  The next day some posts came up that concerned me, & I messaged one of her other friends.  Turns out, she passed in the night, and her son found her the next morning.  I waited a few weeks, but did give hime a call to offer my condolences.  She was only in her early 60's, loved her rock & roll, loved 54-40,  & playing Yoville.

Just a reminder, you never know what's around the corner.

Take call gang !!
