La Tour d'Argent in Paris is auctioning 18,000 bottles from its 450,000-bottle cellar.

The prize, in my opinion, must be the 1788 bottle of cognac--which predates the French Revolution.

You good folks can make it my Christmas present--it's expected to sell for around $5,000.

A real bargain.

I just posted in the other thread that I wanted some Grand Marnier, now I just noticed this thread about Cognac. Maybe cognac would be better to fight off a cold? or Jagermeister?
