Just realized that our washer & dryer are 16 years old!

I guess it's time to replace them?

hmm if it's not broke don't fix it is what I say but if they still work good you could donate them to the sally ann and they could come pick it up for you and move it.

Replace them when the washer doesn't do the job.

16 years?

Crikey ... wish my electrical stuff lasted that long.

My old washer/drier was 18 months old when I heard a big clunk and it started smoking
switched it off kinda fast before the house electrics went  Shocked
It was dead as a dodo.

I'm a walking one woman house demolition.
I once sawed through a gas pipe with a ciggie hanging out of me mouth too. That frightened me a bit. ..so I sensibly stubbed the f*** out quick...but it was dark... so I switched on a light...  Roll Eyes

I've had to replace all my appliances this year first my washer & dryer, stove refrigerator and finally the dishwasher.  My old ones were 15 years old they just fell like dominos.

Hey that's good though ... 15 years old!

none of my stuff lasts that long ... Roll Eyes
I had one of those rapid boil kettles. It was'nt hype ..it did boil rapidly. Fantastic.

But it sounded like the space shuttle taking off and made the whole worktop vibrate and it lasted all of 4 months until one day it melted and fused the kettle to the heating plate on the bottom.
