and why not just do a C-section if you're a sissy? They knock you out, cut you open and take baby girl out of you in a jiffy [Smiley]

Umm... Except the exception I've mentioned... That wasn't part of the child birth...

No...that sounded like a doctor who didnt know what they were doing. I had probs with my placenta also but all my doctor said was "you gotta give another push" ...I did...and out it came. Sorry to hear that happend to you hun.

Extra strength tylenol every 4 hours and regular advil every 4  hours alternating every two hours... So at 12 is tylenol 2 is advil at 4 is tylenol at 6 is advil... But you forget about it when you're on the natural high when you're with your baby... I remember having my daughter on my bed with me in hospital and I was literally laying on the edge of my bed so I wouldn't squish her... The guy came in to do a bilirubin test on my daughter he ran in to catch me cause he thought I was falling...

You can't take anything else because it's not good for baby when you're breastfeeding... And C-Section is a much longer recovery time and probably more painful in the long run.

I remember the night i had my daughter I couldn't sleep at all.. I was so happy and sad at the same time and I just wanted to take her home and have my babies with me for the rest of the summer to myself... Now I miss them... They are with their grandma and grandpa for this week...

all you had was tylenol? girl I was dopped up so bad I made sure to tell everyone who came in my room I thought they were gay with my husband....who is now my ex husband.

Me too... I didn't get any because they had scheduled me for a D&C right after removing the placenta and I couldn't have anything to eat past 10pm and my daughter was born at 8:02... I couldn't believe after all that I still hemoraged...

bless your heart. your delivery sounds aweful. Mine I guess was pretty good the 1st time and great the 2nd. My 1st pregnancy was rough though. and my 2nd again was great. Did you get your tubes tied after all that? I made sure to get mine done!

No but I wouldn't be opposed to more in a few years... I think 3 years min would be ok 6 years max... after 6 years it's a deffinate no.
