I've been fighting this dry, hacking cough for about a week and I finally got tired of it and went for the really strong codeine-based cough syrup.

I think I took too much but I feel awesome and no coughing.

I'll have to bring this stuff along to the pub because it would probably go really good with a shot of vodka.

lol I recall a few years back B was on that stuff nad was so good i drank it all over the course of a few days, she was pissed and i was high

I was hooked on hydromorph for a while with the kidneys and wow what a time it was , but as all good things they must come to an end dammit!

codeine makes me puke!  I remember having a tooth ache this one year,and we were going to this fancy restaurnt to celebrate someones 50th wedding anniversary! I had ordered something quite expensivel ike steak and lobster etc, and a fancy drink.It was a revolving restaurnat too. Anyway I had taken these pills I think it was T3s with codeine, anyway I spent the entire dinner party in the can puking.How embarrasing was that!!!! It was a pissoff having to pay for a dinner I didn't even eat etc.I felt like a fool on such a special occasion, not being at the table.
I have never taken T3s or codeine since! demerol makes me puke too. When I gave birth to my daughter the doctor had given me a shot of demerol,the next day I was sick as a dog.I remember the nurse giving me sh- for not getting up and about getting my daughter. she had no idea how dizzy I was or how sick I felt.
when I had surgery a couple of years back I mentioned I was sensitive to these drugs. After surgery I was so sick,and dizzy.Later I asked and found out they had given me demerol again. So I am just not good with the strong drugs my stomach can't take them. I was given morphine pills to take home with me, but never did try them I was too afraid to risk it. I don't like barfing!

The majority of pain killers are very good. Methadone is crappy, however.

I have a medcine cabinet full of T3's, I guess I should take them back to the pharmacy.  I have a dentist who hates pain.

I did give one to my sister once when she was in pain from a car accident she had. she loves the sh-!  LOL I just didn't want to risk getting sick so put up with a bit of pain after my surgery.
do they go bad? I guess I should get rid of them.

No my daughter was in a car accident too then had TMJ and both my daughters needed wisdom teeth pulled.  I have 4 prescriptions of T3's and maybe 1 taken out of each.  My prescriptions are paid by my extended health so I will fill them just encase who wants their kid in pain.

As per usual on Friday, I'm going to hit the pub for lunch and then drink several beers this afternoon before moving on to harder drinks and party favours in the evening.

I was going to go for a ride with this hot chick but the codeine has nixed that idea--perhaps fortuitously given that I've been lusting after this barmaid at the pub and she is FINALLY single.

I hope being heavily medicated doesn't interfere with getting it up.
