 Happy Saturday everyone! Hope everyone is well!
 My wife is working an extra half day today, for a full days pay!
 We'll probably then meet up with her dad for lunch, and maybe do a grocery shop if he needs one...

 Got the sheets in the washing machine... Finished a couple of loads from yesterday... Got some vacuuming to do...

 Our new kitty is gaining a bit of a repuation as Mr Stinky! He's been farting quite abit... Maybe it's the wet "Kitty" food we've bought?

When our cat was younger she had a HORRIBLE habit of clawing  at the carpet beside a door she wanted in or out of. It washer way of saying open the door,
Anyway she also likes to sleep on the beds[usually with my son] he is a DEEP sleeper ,so over time if she got up before him she would claw athis door. Anyway I have a small patch of carpet in his room now that is destroyed Luckily it is by a seam so eventually I will grab a small spare piece of carpet,from a closet and have someone blend it in to the damaged spot.
I think she has out grown this habit, or maybe just from me yelling at her everytime she started doing this,I don't notice her doing it much.

she does still climb the sundeck door. She clings onto the wood with her nails and looks through the window at us,when she wants in the house

I was very lucky with all my furniture,from day one I never let her my living room
I have lots of expensive antiques that cost me a fortune to recover,so anytime she went inside that room,I would yell at her and chase her out. she learnt very quickly that room was off limits.
Occasionally when I am out and come home I do catch her sneeking out of the that room However my settee and couch have no scratches on them.
she has an old couch in the basement that is pretty well out the door soon,she can claw at when she is purring.

Its funny how pets think they can fool you,Years ago when I had a dog, she was not allowed on the furniture, but sometimes I'd come home and she would be acting all innocent on the floor when we walked in,but when I touched the couch I could feel her body heat She thought she was pulling one over on us jumping down quick when she heard us, but I knew better.
