19-year-old Abbotsford male succumbs to swine flu

Swine flu has claimed another life in B.C.

The victim, a 19-year-old male, was admitted to Abbotsford Regional Hospital July 20 and died nine days later.

He had an underlying chronic condition, which made him more vulnerable to the H1N1 virus, said Roy Thorpe, a Fraser Health spokesperson.

There have now been three swine flu deaths in B.C. and 62 in Canada

I wouldn't worry too much, the regular flu also kills lots of people every year. You said he had a underlying condition.I would think if he didn't have his conditon,he probably would of survived it.
