I can't believe they are scrapping the points program. I wonder what they'll replace it with?? I see that the Fox has the Palm Treo Smartphone in their Sweepstakes again... the one that they had last time that they never announce the winner to! [ !]

Corus Qubec lays off dozen workers at Montreal radio stationThe tough times in the Montreal media continued on Wednesday with an announcement by Corus Qubec about layoffs at Info 690 radio. The company says the French-language news station will undergo a reorganization to help make the station more profitable. The move will result in 12 layoffs. According to the company, Info 690 has been losing money for years. Corus Qubec is a division of Corus Entertainment. There are more than 500 employees at various radio stations across the province. Corus Qubec owns some of Quebec's most popular French-language outlets, including 96.9 CKOI FM, 98.5 FM and CKAC Sports. The company also owns the English-language station Q92 FM in Montreal. Montreal's media scene has been far from stable in recent months. The TQS television station closed its news service last year, resulting in the loss of 270 jobs. Job cuts at Quebecor Inc. also touched media outlets in the province. The Montreal Gazette and Le Journal de Montral are currently involved in labour disputes http://www.cbc.ca/arts/story/2009/02/04/mtl-corus-layoffs-0204.htmlHow soon before we see similar lay-offs in the Vancouver Corus stations[?]
