Blue eyes are moving toward extinction.

In the US in 1900, 1/2 of Americans had blue eyes.

That number is now down to 1/6 Americans.

Immigration patterns and race mixing are the culprits.

Yes, blue eyes are almost the exclusive preserve of those of English, Irish and Northern European descent.

I belong to this elite group....

actually thats a myth nordic people are not any more blond than any other euro

as far as the irish go blue eyes is very ratre along with light hair only less than ten percent of irelnad poulation is red head or blond

Most of the blonde hair and blue eyes in Ireland is a result of the Viking invasions.

I would say Nordic people are more blonde than certain Euro groups although many Slavs also have blonde hair.

I dated a Russian redhead once. Freaking awesome chick.

Everyone in my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, my parents, my brothers) has blue eyes.

Hair colour ranges from brown to blonde.

We are just good northern stock.

Both my parents had brown eyes and 2 out of 6 of us came out with blue eyes! Pretty good seeing brown is dominate.
