Today is my first day working at Thrifty Foods.  I work from 10am - 4:30pm.

i have a bunch of friends that work at clothing stores part time just for the discounts.

I used to do that too... I had friends that worked at clothing stores and I worked at the sunglass hut so they would give me their discount and I would give them mine... It worked... But then I got bored with the whole mall experience..

I worked at a fast food place....could not eat pizza for years afterwards

Hope you dont find that you will be given a full week of work to train you or checj you out and then get the usual 8 hours per week all late afternoons and cleaning the chitter

Here's how my day went:

10am - Noon I helped out with bagging groceries.
Noon - 12:30 was my lunch break.
12:30 - 2:35 I took shopping carts from the parking lot and put them inside the store, then I
continue bagging.
2:35 - 2:50 was my coffee break.
2:50 - 4:30 I took the empty cans and bottles and took them outside so that they could be collected,
then I continued bagging.

It was a pretty nice experience.  It was a little tiring at times, especially with me having to
stand on my feet.  But still it was nice to get out and meet people.
