my laptop keyboard died!!?

something went wrong on my laptop keyboard, it is an hp1530 and now whenever I type on the keyboard, it blurts out random text, like three or four letters at a time

what could cause that?

is it hard to replace a laptop keyboard? it is out of warranty

I am typing this on an extension keyboard but that kind of sucks

have you had a keyboard malfunction that you were able to fix?

it is working again

I think it must have just got a large drop of water in the wrong place which was shorting out a connection, because it fixed itself

how do you like the hp overall? I am thinking of buying one, looking at HP or toshiba

I've got an HP laptop and it has served me well

My only criticism of it is the wireless card doesn't seem to have the range that my buddy's Toshiba has.
