I believe there are very few (maybe none) undiscovered talents in the art world. This applies to musicians, writers, visual artists, dancers, etc.#13;#10;#13;#10;
There are thousands of undiscovered talents in the world, many young people coming out of performing arts and art schools are as yet undiscovered, many bands playing in small venues around the country have not been 'discovered' and made into big money-makers. Maybe you just don't realize this.
If they're good they'll make a living at it. If they're true artists they'll do it regardless of monetary success.
What I realise is that no amount of cash infusion is going to make a terrible band play any better or a crummy painter wield a smarter brush.
Most "undiscovered" acts simply never had it to begin with. That isn't to say they should stop playing gigs but realise they're simply not going to be huge stars.
If they're doing it because they love it, good on them. If they're doing it because they want to be rich they need a dose of reality--and better sooner than later.
