lol, that was funny NSgirl, but on a serious note you are right, something bad is happening to DATW.  maybe people are just stopping cold turkey with the Internet.  i haven't been posting as much.  i usually come here very late at night, do a mass post, then disappear for a day or two. maybe others are like that?

It's not only here...  Other local forums seem to be slowing down a bit too...

It's a 'snowball' effect...  A few individuals stepping away could shift the whole movement of a board.  If it gets too slow here, I'd almost be willing to entertain a 'registration-optional' style forum format...

Its funny what people will and won't eat ... "I'll eat a pig, a cow, a lamb, a fish or a chicken but there is just no way i'm gonna eat a dog or a horse"

Thats because a dog and a horse are pet type animals so it is like eating another human. You attach feelings to these animals!
I wouln't eat them either unless I was starving to death and it was literally a matter of life and death, then I would probably eat any animal!
I don't eat lamb or rabbit either. Basicaly I will only eat beef, pork, chicken and some seafood[the common stuff]
If i didn't grow up eating it for dinner I am very unlikely to even try it!!

Humans are animals. Would you become a cannibal to survive certain death? Assuming that you are human.

Good question!!! I guess one does not know what they would do once face with death. I did see that movie called alive, a true story about the rugby players crashing on top of a mountain. I would like to think I would never do such a thing but I guess I will never know unless stranded on top of a snow filled mountain with dead bodies[xx(]

I saw the survivors of that flight on morning television. Their spokesman and fellow player who ate human flesh to live through the horrific crash, equated Jesus saying, 'this is my body you eat...' with their cannibalism. I believe they are all Catholic. i can clearly say that i would eat the human flesh of a fellow nonsurvivor under similar circumstances and I would insist they do the same if and when I die and they are still alive without food. i see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Should you not eat their dead flesh so that when spring comes maggots can and will eat all of you? Who then is the smarter, the man or the maggot?

Hmmm, maybe if there was a dead east indian on the flight, the flesh would be spicy--garlic and such--enough to counter the absence of heinz.

I know it's slow...  Almost every user is complaining!

I'm kinda P.O. Admin didn't leave me admin privileges...  If he was going to let the site kinda slide down and just disappear, at least give me the option to generate new accounts and whatnot!
