I find it harder to teach my daughter money managment than my son... My son started working with me for a couple hours a month and saved a lot of money... He kept wanting to buy an xbox 360 just before christmas so I had to keep making excuses to not spend it cause I didn't want to tell him I got a Wii... But my daughter doesn't like to save anything... If she gets $10 for helping me with extra chores she wants to go out and spend it all right away on all her friends... I try to tell her she should put some in the bank but soon as the rest is gone she wants to go back to the bank and get her money back... My son has always wanted to save money... I think I've taught him well... And sometimes you really do have to spend money to make money... I'm getting a car in less than 2 weeks and already have a couple interviews set up for higher paying jobs... Enough to cover a car/insurance payment plus a couple hundred extra to put away... With more money I won't be living any better... Just have an easier time saving for emergencies...

remember, i said, foolish money spenders.' i mentioned no names. i just see so many wasting money like it grew on a tree. for instance, do you pay the bank for any services each month??? if you do, it is all these small types of bills that nickle and dime you to death. geez, i switched to those new light bulbs and my hydro dropped 40%. the list is endless and dynamic as to how to stop giving away money.

I understand saving and cutting back to spend where needed, but really are you going to take the money with you? Money is useless for dirt naps. Enjoy spend on what makes you happy.

monique, it will remain in the family and grow. i'm not depriving myself. i eat steak whenever i want. i figured it out and gas will have to hit about 5 dollars a litre before i'll feel it.

My friend its already lost, pulled back my hair to wash my face yesterday and something glistened in the light, under close inspection it was a grey hair. [Sad] I have aches and pains and move slower these days. One foot in the grave.

Grey hair is nothing to worry about... I have 4 that have been there for as long as I can remember... I pulled them out many many times but they keep growing back... It's really not that big a deal its only hair...
