Nothing to do with me... I have worked at a couple of trucking outfits in the past though...
I think the rig in the pic is a Kindersley truck, if I'm not mistaken...
I've dealt with Kindersley in the past though... Byers also... We'd use a few different outfits to haul sh- up north, as I was local only at the time...
I did the long haul thing a few years ago too... After about a year and a half I'd gotten sick of being away from home all the time, and I quit. I personally was never involved in a fatal collision, but I've seen close calls... I would mainly run to the South Western States and back... The odd time it was to Alberta & back. I can tell you this much... they certainly weren't paying me enough to run steady Alberta and back, especially in the winter. The highways can get brutal, and when I calculated my time involved, I wasn't making enough money, as I was paid by the mile...
I will not drive ever again over the mountain highways here in the winter unless I am paid by the hour!
