Anti-Canadian Racists Strike in Surrey

A colleague has informed me that he recently received on his doorstep a phone directory for local businesses. Essentially, it is similar to a Yellow Pages except it has serious racist overtones. The directory is targeted to East Indians and features only East Indian businesses.

It's an outrage and something all true Canadians should be concerned about. Despite bending over backwards to accomodate immigrants, many still prefer dealing exclusively with their own community rather than embracing greater Canada.

My colleague does admit he finds the directory somewhat useful, however, in that he now knows which businesses to avoid at all costs.

Is Surrey not almost 80% East Indian by now anyway? So most residents probably like to buy from their own kind ,so I guess it is good business! As long as the merchants have paid for the advertising they are free to do as they wish! I am sure the same residents also recieve the regular yellow pages so all businesses should be covered if they have chosen to even advertise in the first place.

I don't like this at all.  I fought for my country, not for little ethnic groups to tear it apart.  I don't like something being open to only one group based on race no matter what it is.  It reminds me of being in the Deep South when I was younger and there were the same things for whites and coloureds.  There were complete parallel systems for business and church and everything you can think of.  How the multiculturalists like this Annie bitch can support segregation in this day and age while screaming about the injustices of the past and getting wet over Martin Luther King Jr is beyond me.

What this does show though and what every real Canadian should learn is that we'd be better off following the example of these immigrants and only doing business with our own kind.  Why the hell would we ever do business with foreigners when they obviously don't want to do business with us?

I think this little advertisment book has gotten blown way out of porportion!!! it is just that an advertisement! They are doing what any good business would do,advertise to their target market! Plain and simple. if you know anything about running a business and to succeed in a business you have to figure out who your main market is! obviously for these businesses it is the East indian consumers, so they spend their advetising dollars to advertise to them! I am sure these same businesses also advertise to white people. they will want to get the biggest bang for their buck! I don't think it has any thing to do with segragation!
