Whoa, had no idea the buses were that dangerous. Accidents up 43% in the past four years! Please Yield: It's the law" sign on the rear of the bus as justification. - Drivers hogging the road, preventing other motorists from passing. - Speeding buses. - Drivers talking on cellphones or listening to Walkmans or MP3 players while at the wheel. |

Sorry, didn't mean you wyk, I meant the people who climb on board, refuse to pay, spit on the bus driver, hog seats that elderly, handicapped and mothers with small children need, and then sit there and stink. I was a bus commuter until recently myself, and I am sure that a fine upstanding individual like yourself would not be classified as vermin. My apology to all non-vermin bus riders.

When VPD get involved in complaints like this, you know it's serious.
Those Blue Jay, jamtart "it's a tough job, yada yada yada", "were you there, yada yada yada" rationalizations don't cut the mustard when VPD is in the pic. Being a cynical politico myself, I'd speculate that it goes deeper, something like VPD (and poss other agencies) were basically saying, you'd better bring in some training, otherwise we'll start watching out for and ticketing your guys...which would be embarrassing.
