Newwestminster Quay

NSGirl, I walk at the Quay quite often and I see many many kids walk on the Pier.  It's really safe.  There's a nice park when you walk to the end where the kiddies can play.  It's verrrry basic but there's also a telescope to look through to see the boats coming by.  At times, you can see the fishermen and they are nice about showing their catch of the day.

There's an ice-cream parlor that kiddies love.  When you get to the Quay, walk past the Casino, to the west.  It's absolutely beautiful to walk there, with the nice condos, water and the nice park.  

It's quiet and safe.  I've walked there past midnight at times too.

I meant to say that there was a nice playground with a semi boat.  There's also the old boat that's open like a museum.  Kids would love to roam around on this ship. )

lonsdale quay is so much better than the new west one it's a joke.
new west reminds me of some old town trying to stick to a tradition (the queen visited them or something 100 years ago?) and failing miserably. There is absolutely nothing to do in that city, except visit the hospital, and get a tattoo.. they have a billion tattoo shops in new west.
