NS, head over to the sunshine coast or bowen island sometime, some amazing hikes and views there!!  I hiked to skookumchuck narrows a couple weekends ago, amazing place!

we took my father in law to bowen a couple of weeks ago and I noticed they have a trail that goes up around some lake. I am definetly thinking of doing that some afternoon with friends and then grabbing lunch at the pub again!
I am spoiled living in my neighbourhood I have trails everywhere here! I love it[Smiley]However I like new places too. Nothing better then exploring somewhere brand new and trying not to get lost! I tend to do this just before dusk sometimes,I always figure one of these days I will be one of those people on the news that search and rescue are looing for![Wink]my husband even bought me a gps!!!LOL

Did you go to the pub right there in the marina?  Its an awesome pub (slow service) but great food.  We go there by boat from gibsons all the time.  

Just stick to the trails, you'll be fine... and don't hike when its dark!

Tonite just going to my local hole for some dinner, then home to do what you're doing.. then catch up on sleep.  Tomorrow i'm heading out to the ridge to see family.  exciting stuff!

I haven't eat a god damned vegetable since probably the 1960s.  I'm healthy as a horse.  Vegetables are for pinkos.

I was at a farm last year that had cattle and I saw these little white plastic 'huts' and wondered what they were, so I walked over and looked in and in each hut was a baby cow, very recently weaned I guess, and super cute, and making little bleating type noises (lonely for their mothers I guess)

yes, that is how they are kept when raised to be used as veal. It is so that they do not get any exercise which will create muscle. It is cruel and inhumane to support any part of the veal industry.
