O.K. guys we have a fellow DATW thats pregnant, not sure if this is her first or not but lets give her a Baby shower....

No presents...just words of wisdom ,advice, stories..etc!  This may also cool Forny down a bit, birthing, and baby stories should work as good as a cold shower[Cheesy]

Babies are depressing. How do you look in your child's eyes knowing you brought something into this world that is going to suffer, grow old and die?

Tip #1  don't listen to the doctor,if they tell you to lie on your back when delivering!  My doctor told me this with my first child,it took forever to push her out[2 hours]!!! She just wouldn't fit!Ouch[Cheesy]  I think the doctors find it easier for them ,harder for the mother!
With my second I figured screw this I am going to try a squatting position. Can't say it was easy but as soon as I gave up the lying down position, things progressed much faster! The force of gravity,it only makes sense[Wink]

I have absolutely no intention of ever being pregnant or giving birth.  So I require no advice =)  Some to offer?  

1)  Set aside a lot of money for University
2)  Set aside a lot of money for Food
3)  Set aside a lot of money for Toys, clothes, diapers, formula
4)  Set aside a lot of money for Ipods, cell phones and internet

Is it all worth it?  Damn right! Can't wait to be a dad.

tip #2  skip the formula, if you can!!! nursing is  sooo much easier, healthier and cheaper!!! No bottles, formula, getting up and heating milk. your boob is portable,clean and always at the right temperature!

Oh god I hope this didn't turn Forny on...can I say boob with out causing a tingle?Huh[Cheesy]

Sam does not need to read comments like why childbirth wrecks the vagina. There's a difference between your crude comments and talking about sex such as in trying to conceive or what to do if one wants a boy or girl, etc., but of course with all the blood gone from your brain to your penis you are unable to make non-sexual comments.  Pitiful, really.
