i personally think that if ufos are real, they are just humans from the future and nothing more. i find this stuff very hard to grasp, but i think that the control of gravity may lead to time travel one day.

when i was a little kid, i told my dad that i know how to make something travel faster than light. i said just drive your car at 50 mph and turn on your headlights. the light leaving from the headlights would then go 186,000 miles per second plus 50 mph.   of course, at that time, i didn't know that the speed of light is constant and unchanging under those conditions.

Kaivola Time Dilation Experiment
A precise measurement of time dilation was made in a double-photon experiment by Kaviola et al. in 1985. An atomic beam of neon atoms at v= 0.004c was excited by two lasers which were colinear with the beam and incident upon the atoms from opposite directions. The absorption frequencies for neon are shifted by both the Doppler effect and time dilation, with the Doppler shift being much larger. By measuring a double photon transition with the two lasers from opposite directions, the Doppler shift was canceled and the time dilation shift measured precisely . The measurement was made by measuring the beat frequency between the two tunable lasers. This experiment confirmed the expected time dilation within 4 parts in 100,000.

i think this experiment shows that we are not mathematically capable enough to find an equation to cancel the 'doppler effect' and we needed a physical experiment such as this 'kaivola experiment' which canceled the 'doppler effect' by hitting equally from opposing directions in a physical way.
    mankind is far from being as smart as we think we are if we can't use our brains and computers to accomplish this on paper first.

i exceeded the speed of light this evening, actually.. i went to the bathroom and turned the lightswitch on before entering the bathroom, but it was still dark and so i was already in the bathroom before the light came on, so essentially i exceeded the speed of light. that usually happens with me, when i REALLY need to pee!!!

a UFO is just what it is, an unidentified flying object.  nowhere in its nomenclature does it suggest its little green men from mars.  Its just an object in the air that appears unrecognizable.  Most are hoaxes, the rest are just atmospheric anomolies, or distored images of planes, etc...  However I do not dismiss that there is life elsewhere, i just dont' believe we have been visited.

Me too.. I was outside watching a light moving really slowly but I thought it was just a plane.. then it just stopped and I though "wtf what happened to it" and then it was like a shooting star in reverse... it just shot up and back and scared the sh- outta me I didn't sleep for weeks... then I was talking to my father in law while I was planting vines at the side of the house and he asked why I was so tired so I was unsure if I should tell him or not so I started to tell him and he said he knew exactly what I was talking about and he had seen something very similar when he was about late 20's to mid 30's but had never seen it since.. I haven't seen it since either but I think my son might have..

If they have the technology to have visited us then they must be quite a bit more advanced then us, in which case they probably came, took a look from above and said "screw these cavemen, we'll come back in another million years" [^][^]

I did once see something quite startling as well, looked like a missle going up, which was normal (near air force base), then it cam to a dead stop mid air, glowed bright blue for a moment, then shot off at lightning speed.  Called police, they said their lines were flooded with calls, next morning in the paper it said it was just a new test missile.

I saw some lights on the beach near Tofino last month, that were just bizarre, huge and hovering around...I couldn't take my eyes off them, it was so freaky. Then they all just slowly floated away.
