My dog hardly goes outside when it rains, but he's old and it's ok.

...I've been very impressed with DATW btw. I think the mod(s) and users have built the foundations of something special.

Could it be because there's no handlejacking and one needs to "register" to post plus having to either log-in or enter the nickname and password for every post? I think that strategy would have solved a lot of the problems at DV, or maybe I'm wrong.  Anyhoo, interesting why the noobs over at DV did not do a long time ago what DATW did from the start.

Precisely. Too many DV types would start screwing up a debate when they could not win. Handlejacking like crazy, no-one knew who was who and the debates went down the toilet. Here they would have to get by on the strength of their argument and most could not do that

It's all about winning the 'debate'???

Not for me. I enjoy a good debate whether I win or lose. If I lose, well then I learned something. Unfortunately some people tie their ego to their position and as soon as they can't win, they destroy the discussion with handlejacking and other silly tactics.
