I've been sneezing the last couple of days, so I thought I would check on the pollen levels and sure enough Alder tree pollen is moderate already in Vancouver, and alder pollen is a big allergy cause.

Has anyone else here noticed any problem with their allergies?

I noticed I was sneezing quite a bit today.... but no red itchy eyes like I get during full swing allergy season.

Heck, pollen is the last thing that I'm worried about in the air.  The thing to worry about in the air is what's comming from Japan!

I don't live on the coast like you guys but I do suffer from allergies big time.
Went to the Doc today and besides some antibiotics (sinus infection) he told me to try the Neti Pot.Good grief is that ever wicked but today is only day one and I will try it again and again because I really do want some relief of this stuffed up feeling.. Sad

I've used neti pot and I like it, it helps a little, it is important to use the proper salt with it though, iodized table salt or sea salt burns like crazy, as does plain water with no salt

my aerius pills were failing, I was suffering badly sneezing like crazy, so I got some nasonex and lo and behold I have now gotten some relief

I wish I had tried the nasonex first, it really helps me a lot

I noticed the Alder pollen level today was extremely high

Monte Carlo that is an interesting link "alder the red", but I wonder about the diet they are talking about on that site, it is supposedly eating like prehistoric man ate, I don't know if it would do anything for pollen allergy

Sounds like people are getting pretty bad allergies this season. I normally get horrible hayfever, but I haven't really been feeling it much this year. I didn't develop allergies until I was in my 20's, so I'm really hoping it was temporary and I'm not going to get them this year. *crosses fingers*

I used to have terrible hayfever, but somehow when I was in my mid-30's it mysteriously disappeared.  Perhaps I outgrew it?

My daughter has really bad hayfever and every year we'll go through the whole gamut of antihistimines.  We'll try one for 6 weeks or so, it will stop being effective and then on to the next.  She seems to build up some kind of resistance to them but it's not permanent, because the next year we can repeat the cycle with the same drugs and again they work for a while.

Has anyone else experienced that?
