Depends on the mountain and the weather. Last year everything was closed end of march but there's been a ton of snow so I don't see it being closed in three weeks. But it depends on the mountain.

I don't know what lifts your taking up but in whistler you take the gondola up.

No I didn't take any lifts up last year... I rode. But I watched people take actual ski lifts up to mountain bike. They put their bike on a chair that had something added to it for the bike to fit and then rode up on the chair behind it. I did notice people taking the gondola as well and getting off at the first of the two stops.

Oh ok. Yeah regular chair lifts can take the bikes but I don't go that high. Still very chicken sh- about going downhill. I mostly like riding locally. Very easy trails.

Ok but body armour doesn't protect everything.

I know. I've already done some downhill and have a scar to prove it. I can take a pretty good thrashing.

Conditions were great yesterday and hardly a line up the whole time I was there. Season is almost done I'm a little sad it's over so quickly. Seymour is open till apt 10 then weekends only till ape 23 or 24. I would go today but I got some studying to do today.

Yes I am. Takes a lot of my time up but it's end of the season so it won't be too hard to study after april.

BTW there was 44cm on Seymour last night. But it's only open 11 to 5 during the week now. Longer on weekend but the last day is April 24 Shocked(

Yeah I checked the grouse website and they had a ton of fresh snow too. It doesn't say when grouse is closing though. But it's probably around the same time as Seymour, right?

What are you studying?

When they close the snowing part of grouse, they'll open the grouse grind for hiking?

^ Not right away. They have to make sure there is no snow left on the grouse grind before they open it. Though there is always still snow at the very top when it first opens. I think it usually opens sometime in May or June...

CGA. Not sure what I want to do for my bachelors yet. I'm thinking art history.

Amazing conditions at Big White this weekend.  I'll almost be sad to leave tomorrow morning.

No we rented a condo for the weekend. It was so nice. Had a private hot tub. We turned the tv toward the hot tub and got to sit and relax and watch the masters before we went out for drinks. It was a great weekend. Couldn't have asked for better weather.
