Yes, Ton  or Not

Because the question said "this water into a barrel".

Jed Recluse lived alone and he preferred it that way.  Jed never had any visitors and he never visited anyone.  Since Jed never left his house it was necessary to hove his supplies delivered every two weeks.  One dark and stormy night Jed lost control of his senses, turned off all the lights and went to sleep.  The next morning it was discovered that Jeds actions resulted in the deaths of several people.  Why?

A barrel yes but both jugs would have gone into a barrel.

Original Question: Picture two plastic jugs, filled with water. How could you put all this water into a barrel, without adding the jugs or any divider to the barrel, and still tell which water came from which jug?

Answer: First you would freeze the water in one or both jugs, then remove from jugs.

Suppose a squirrel is behind the truck of a tree, which, it keeps between itself and a hunter who is circling the tree.  In this case does the hunter actually walk around the squirrel?

Yes, the hunter does go around the squirrel since the hunter goes around the tree which the squirrel has not left.
