I could spend hours on that place listening to old songs and singers.
Man do they ever have some great footage available on there. You click on one song and then you can just keep watching. I better get off this stupid computer if I ever want to get anything done! Grin

Yeah, I like it too and for the very same reason. Trouble is Youtube has put a lot of restrictions on what can be downloaded now and I don't know how to circumvent the problem or even if it is possible to do so. Does anyone know how to get around the restrictions? Please advise.

I just tried this website, it works
http://www.savevideodownload.com/download.php

Paste video url and click get link then click download

click ok on something and then the video will start playing

right click save video as

I converted some of these videos as MP3s so I didn't have to pay itunes.

Ok so I made Firefox my default browser and added Downoad Helper but I still can't save vids. Everything is as it was before or so it seems. Should I be saving to Media Player or some other program?

Damn!! Not enough time to make corrections re: the above ^^^. I've used Realplayer for vids when possible but for reasons mentioned previously in this thread I have often been anable to do so. Any other programs I should be using that would help?
