I drink socially at parties. I will have a couple of glasses of red wine.
At home I like the occasional ceasar with vodka. Usually I just make them virgin though most of the time.
So basically I do not drink very much at all.I can't even remember the last time I got drunk!
when you have kids ,you never really want to get yourself in a situation where you are unable to drive,just in case you need to!!

I drink around 12-15 bottles (at home) or pints (at the bar) a day.

I also drink my beer with whiskey, usually 5 or 6 ounce shots of Jack Daniels.

Been doing it since the 1950s and I'll be doing it until I'm dead.

If I'm done for the day, I'll have a couple of drinks after work (once I'm home).... if I have further running around to do then I don't bother....  I'm certainly not as good a drinker as many of my fellow Glaswegians

Alcohol is nervous system depressant, causing the brain to relax and inhibitions to decrease. That is why many alcoholics get into trouble because they could not control their behaviour when intoxicated. Muscle co-ordination is impaired. Thoughts are incoherent and so gibberish is spewed and slurred

For a 120 lb. man or woman drinking very quickly, it would only take about 9-10 drinks in an hour to reach the lethal level.

It's important to note that the body oxidizes about one ounce (approximately one drink) an hour. Depending upon how much you drink, how quickly you drink, and what else is in your stomach, it may take from about 30-90 minutes after you stop drinking before you reach your highest level of intoxication. This occurs whether the individual is conscious or passed out, thus it is critical that someone who is semi-conscious or unconscious be constantly evaluated.

^ MANY AUSSIES DRINK MORE THAN THAT ACE.
I HAVE 3 FRIENDS WHO START AT 3AM IN THE MORNING. THEY GO TO WORK DRINKING AND AFTER WORK REALLY GET INTO IT. OUR BEER COMES IN 30 CAN PACKS.
