Just saw the movie shutter Island, if you have not seen it yet do not waste your time. It is slow, boring and very predictable.I figured it out within the first 20 minutes of the movie. No twists or suprises in this one. I was pretty dissapointed with it,as Scorses usually does good movies. Undecided

My friend tried to get me to go. Asked me couple of times but I didn't want to. Not my type of movie.

I thought my husband was going to fall asleep during it. LOL
right from the start I was reading into the clues. I figured there would bve some sort of twist  to it but it was not clever enough. It was pretty easy to guess how it was going to end.
Mind you I did like the very last line in the movie that was a nice touch.

 Sad

I was looking forward to watching that movie. Guess I'll save it for when my satellite signal isn't coming in strong.

There aren't many good movies out lately.  The theater is outragously expencive...and the price for food is beyond dumb...mind you, I bring my own snacks and drinks in my purse.  I ain't gonna pay no $8 for a small bag of yucky popcorn with a drop of butter only on it.  And then sit in a theater with people talking on their cells, coughing or eating their popcorn or nachos like a friggin pig.  I'd rather rent it or better yet, wait for a used video to go on sale at the movie rental place for $8-$10 dollars.  Renting isn't cheap either.  Might as well just buy.

funny you say this
1 We only went to it becasue I had 2 free passes that expired at the end of April [cut off  cereal boxes]

2 I never buy theatre food, we didn't have snacks but if we did I too usually bring my own.

3 we went to station square and i think there is a total of 6 people in the theatre. LOL
so it was pretty quiet! Last time I went a few weeks ago with my son, there was only 4 people in the theatre,it was a Tuesday night, so sunday nights are abit busier I guess. LOL

Amanda Seyfried's nude in Chloe. A woman rip her shirt open exposing her breasts.

Sounds as bad as the movie A Perfect Getaway. I figured out the whole movie before it ended and it was so slow. SUCKED!
