She was a prolific and decent poster but, alas, she is now dead to us.

I wish her well in the afterlife (whatever that crummy forum she now posts at is called) where all posts are about remodelling your home, walking neighbour's dogs and being fabulously wealthy.

someone die?  LOL

I have hardly even been over on meebee lately. I have been working my little butt off these days.
I'm back to work full time, ever since my job share partner left her husband and decided she needed to work full time again.so she took another job leaving me with our job to do full time.
So that kind of sucks, but I am actualy enjoying it. I think it will be good to bump up my wages,as my pension will be based on my 5 best years pay. Seeing I have only work half time for many years,it will make a big difference.
I'm doing lots of supervising work lately. Much more responsibility, and tons to learn. So it is kind of stressful trying not to f*** anything up! I've only had a couple of minor screw ups, nothing to worry about, all part of learning the job.

Anything new and exciting going on these days. I have not been on the computer too much the last little while and I am too lazy to dig up old posts.
I saw GF had a road test planned. Any word on how he did. I am sure he already posted it somewhere, but like I said I haven't been across the street today and don't have lots of time to check.

As for walking the neighbours dog, I gave up doing that a long time ago. Long story.

Long story. The father/husband of the family pissed me off one too many times ,so I basically said f*** it,no more favours for them. I miss the dog but ,I just walk with my friends now.

Thats great about GF, yippee, way to go Guardian flash!

NS you need to get your own doggy

I would love too, but my husband says no more dogs! we had a dog years ago,and he didn't like picking up dog sh- in the yard etc. it is too much responsiblity. that was the nice thing about walking the neighbours dog at the time, i got the joy of having a dog with no responsibility.
oh well maybe one day I'll offer to walk someone elses dog.Or if he drops dead I will walk their dog again. LOL
actually I will probaby walk her again one day,I am just too busy lately to have time.

like what they do?

he would lift a chair up,really high over his head and call his cat.It would leap up ontop of the chair and then crawl down on his back. or he would hold up this cat scratch thing that had 2 levels on it and get one cat to jump on one level and the other cat would jump on the other level.
almost like watching a circus cat the way he did it. LOL
very expensive cats, they are pure bread bangels or something like that. He said they cost something like $1200 each! too me that crazy, but he loves them.

One cat and the occasional wild squirrel is good enough for us.

I think he spends a LOT of time playing with them.He is a single guy,his wife died etc. His cats are his life now.

I know, crazy! my neighbour did the same thing with some "rag doll" type cat.She had it flown in by a helicopter.I guess they are rare.
My cat was free, got it from up the street. some cat had a litter of kittens and they were giving them away,so we took one. She is a calico, very small and very sweet. Who need to pay big bucks to have a nice cat
