I have no home phone anymore, don't plan on getting one ever either. Are the old style landlines going the way of the dinosaur?


The only problem I see still is the fact that cell phone prices are still a ripoff in Canada. Using the cell in the same manner in Canada my average bill was around $200 per month; using a different cell in the exact same way in the states (u.s. company) my average bill was around $50 per month. With MetroPCS I can call Canada for 2 cents a minute and have unlimited local calling for $40 a month.

I know with Rogers and Fido I was paying through the nose....
