Just like it's my opinion that a B cup is a below average boob size.

I'm 34 but that doesn't mean I have large boobs. I agree 36 is boardering on chubby. I never understood why guys worry about the number and not just the cup size. It's the cup size that tells you how big the boobs are. The number just tells you how far around you have to reach to undo the bra.

Mandy, i too used to think this was true, BUT, if you grab two bras next time you are bra shopping, take, say, a 34C and a 36C, of the exact same bra, you will find that the cup of the 36C is actually bigger than the cub of the 34C. Also, if you wear a 36B, and are having troubles fitting a bra, you could probably actaully fit into a 34C, it's almost like they are half sizes of each other, if i am making any sense....

^ yes a 34A and a 36A are different cup sizes. It's based on proportions. Both should look the same size in proportion to the womans body... or at least in proportion to a womans ribcage measurement. But the band size always means the same thing.
