The average breast size continues to grow.

10-15 years ago it was a 34B and it is now a much juicier 36C. (UK statistics).

On an otherwise boring Monday, this is something to celebrate.

I like myself some titty. Not to the point of absurdity but I don't want a woman who looks too much like some dude up top.

Did you notice that it didn't go from 34B to 34C, but to 36C? It means they are getting fatter too. I'd prefer a slender fit woman with a B cup over a chubby chick with a C cup.

You think 36 is chubby? What is that, like a 31 rib cage?

Though it does depend on how tall the chick is. But a 36" bra on the average 5'5" tall woman is chubby-ish. If the chick is more like 5'10 than it's a good size. But we are talking about the average bra size so I figured it would also be on an average hieght woman.

But you are tiny, right.

I always thought that the bra size was approximately the circumference of the ribcage just below the breasts to which you add about five inches.

I had a girlfriend who was about 5'1" and she was a 34C (unless she went on the pill and then they ballooned) and she was far from being chubby.

I think that depends on where the curves are.  Beyonce is probably a 36C and no one considers her bordering chubby.

like that article you posted on red female clothing being more attractive to men for some psychological reason, i think that is true for a female's body measurement ratio too. i've heard marilyn monroe had this ratio and that is why so many men found her appealing. i forget the ratio, but it is between bust, waist and hips..

I'm 34 but that doesn't mean I have large boobs. I agree 36 is boardering on chubby. I never understood why guys worry about the number and not just the cup size. It's the cup size that tells you how big the boobs are. The number just tells you how far around you have to reach to undo the bra.

Thanks. I thought it was kind of funny that one article I read said men don't and wont find you more intelligent (lol).  Who would wear clothing thinking it's going to make them sound smart?
Marilyn Monroes ratio is documented as being 35-22-35/36-23-37. Given that her waist was in the low twenties, her chest being 35/36 didn't necessarily mean she was chubby. By todays sizes she would be a size 8, 10 at most.  The average woman is a size 12. Not that it matters. I think we can agree that when we think of Marlyn Monroe no one thinks "bordering chubby"  Smiley

For sure but I still don't see how 36 is chubby.

I'm 34 and sometimes I think I'm bordering on chubby. Guys hear big numbers in combination with cup size and they only think that means their boobs are way bigger. Good news is that if guys don't think 36 is chubby I'm good.

If your bra is size 36 it means your ribcage is what, 31ish--that's about the size of my waist and very small for the ribcage.

I think what you consider chubby must be what I consider normal.

Marylin Monroe and Beyonce both probably wear a 36" bra... and both of them are bordering on chubby.

Haha yeah I've heard guys say things like "she's got the hugest boobs, she's a 42B!"... and I'm thinking "so she's a fat chick with average sized boobs."
